Admission to Teacher Education
To earn the Bachelor of Science degree with teacher licensure, students must meet the following requirements:
• Formal application to teacher education [link to RCOE application to admission for teacher ed]
• Completion of at least 60 semester hours with GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Satisfactory scores on PRAXIS exams in reading, writing, and mathematics
• Demonstrated proficiencies in English, reading, and completion of the speech prerequisite
