Appalachian Student Dietetic Association
The Appalachian Student Dietetic Association is a student foods and nutrition organization that offers a wide variety of opportunities and experiences for any Appalachian student. Our parent organization is the American Dietetic Association.
Welcome to the Appalachian Student Dietetic Association's home page. The purpose of ASDA is the advancement of nutrition education on our campus and in the community and to promote leadership, professionalism, and the field of dietetics within our membership.

Membership:
Is open to all current Appalachian State University students who are interested in nutrition or related fields or topics. A student should maintain interest and participation in all association activities.
Meetings:
See the ASDA board on the first floor of LS Dougherty Hall for information regarding meeting dates and times.
Matching/Careers in Dietetics info session-During this meeting we will have one of the nutrition professors come and talk to us about the professional outlook and decisions that are made in becoming a registered dietitian. The matching process will also be discussed and what paper work and references need to be attained for this process.
Dues:
Dues are $10.00 per semester and are non-refundable. If a member does not pay dues, ASDA will not be placed on the member's student activity record.
