Since our classrooms are physically located in two different buildings, we are “one center in two buildings with stairs in between.” As such, we refer to the infant/toddler classroom as “Upstairs” and the preschool classroom as “Downstairs.”

7:30-9:00          Arrival and free play

9:00-9:30           Morning Snack

9:30-11:30         Free play/ Activity Inside or Outside

11:00-11:30         Outdoor play

11:30-12:00         Lunch

12:00-3:00          Nap Time and Quiet or Outdoor Play for those awake

3:00-3:30            Afternoon snack

3:30-5:30            Free Play/Activity Inside or Outside
                          (dependent on location of Morning Play)

This schedule is adjusted to meet the needs of each individual child. Our very young children eat and sleep more often than indicated, and some of our toddlers still eat and sleep at irregular intervals.top

7:30-9:00          Children begin arriving; limited free choice of activity

9:00-9:30          Free choice of all activity centers

9:30-10:30        Open Snack is available as an individual free choice

10:30-11:00      Large group time

11:00-12:00      Outside/Gross Motor play

12:00-12:30      Lunch

12:30-1:00       Toileting & transition to nap

1:00-3:00         Nap

2:50-4:15         Free Choice activities including afternoon snack

4:15-5:30         Activity, free play & / or outdoor play time
